We are surrounded by stories. Out of all the stories that we hear, we build an understanding of the world and how it works. Facebook. Folks generally either love it or hate it. For those of us who spend time on Facebook each day (possibly way too much time), we find ourselves experiencing a wide range of emotions, from warm fuzzies (I mean, who doesn’t love those adorable videos of kittens and puppies) to murderous rage (those maddening political posts no matter what party each of us supports) and everything in between. While it can be an aid in supporting relationships with family and friends (it became a lifeline for so many during COVID), is it possible that it can be something more? How can FB support our personal growth and faith development? Is it possible to find “faith” on FB?

“Our worth does not reside in how much we produce, especially not for a system that exploits and dehumanizes us. Rest, in its simplest form, becomes an act of resistance and a reclaiming of power because it asserts our most basic humanity. We are enough. The systems cannot have us.” Tricia Hersey
Join us this Sunday, as we explore a future that trashes the concept of work/life balance, and embraces the idea that work is a part of life, not life itself.
